How to Connect a Patio Gas™ Cylinder
![]() ![]() For Comap type 1590, AE Reca type Quick-On 634PR and SRG type 547 27mm clip-on regulators.
These cylinders have a 27mm valve and must only be used with 27mm regulators.
There is no protective cap. Check the top of the valve is clean and free from debris.
Ensure the regulator switch is in the off position (3 o’clock position) – there will be an audible ‘click’.
Place the regulator down onto the cylinder valve and press downwards firmly until you hear the regulator ‘click’ into place.
To turn the gas on, turn the gas on/off switch anticlockwise to the on position. ALWAYS turn the switch to the off position after use.
IMPORTANT
If the regulator on/off switch gets stuck when turning the supply on, it means that the regulator has been connected incorrectly. In this event the regulator must be disconnected and the correct steps to reconnect be repeated from the beginning.
How to Disconnect a Patio Gas™ Cylinder
![]() Turn the regulator switch clockwise to the off position.
For the Comap 1590 or AD regulators press the push button on the lower part and lift the regulator from the valve.
For the Reca Compact Quick-On regulator, press horizontally on the regulator on/off switch and pull upwards.
For the SRG 547 regulator lift the horizontal lever extending from regulator and remove regulator from valve.
There is no cap to be replaced.
